Some days you want the ferry to Watsons Bay rather than the fastest way there. The view is better and you are not in a hurry. Tell KRAIL, and it only shows trips on the kinds of transport you want.
Tap Mode
Search your trip and tap Mode. A row of chips appears, one for each kind of transport:
- Train, Metro, Bus, Light Rail, Ferry and Coach
- plus School Bus, and On Demand for the bookable shuttles in some areas
They all start switched on. Tap the ones you do not want to switch them off, then tap Done.
Your results, your way
KRAIL takes out every option that uses anything you switched off. So if you turn off Bus (and School Bus), you will not get a trip that sneaks in a bus for the last two stops.
If nothing is left, KRAIL tells you, with a nudge to tap Mode and switch something back on.
Ideas for trying it
- Ferry only on a sunny weekend, just for the ride.
- No buses when you would rather stay on the train or the metro.
- Light rail and train when you are heading somewhere along the line and want to keep it simple.
Good to know
- The choice is for the trip you are looking at. Come back later and everything is switched back on.
