Sydney, end to end.
Tallawong to Bondi · live, every minute.
One tap. You're going.
Save the journeys you take every day. Give them a colour, an emoji, a name only you'll understand. Pink for the hospital. Teal for the beach. Blue for Friday drinks at the CBD. Then every morning, your trips are waiting. Tap once. Live times, right there.
4 in 10 KRAIL users tap a saved trip every time they open the app.
Live parking, before the driveway.
Tallawong at 7:05 is a parking lottery. Kellyville fills up by 7:15. Bella Vista has a few spots left, but you have to know that before you drive.
KRAIL shows live parking availability at 20+ Sydney stations, updated every minute. See exactly how full each station is before you leave home.
Walk out the right exit.
Just tell KRAIL where you're going. It builds the full journey · which lines connect, where to change, which platform to head to. You don't need to know the network by heart before you leave.
Every leg has a map. Tap any stop to see your exact street. Which side of the road the bus pulls in on. Which platform to walk toward. Where to change trains without crossing back over.
1 in 5 KRAIL users switch to map view, and stay.
Same minute as the platform.
No estimates. No "usually around 8". Just the actual minute, live for trains, metro, buses, ferries and light rail.
Live Refreshed while you watch · same feed as the station screen.
Wynyard becomes Work.
You know the stops. KRAIL lets you name them. Label Wynyard as "Work". Label your street corner as "Home". Label that stop near the gym · you know the one. Your labels show up everywhere in the app, replacing the raw stop name with the word that actually means something to you.
The smallest feature. The biggest difference when you're half-asleep at 7am.
Built for 6 AM.
Accessibility isn't a checkbox in KRAIL · it's in the original design. Dark mode with carefully tuned contrast ratios. Large text that goes bigger than your phone's system default. Every screen, every departure board, readable at arm's length at 6am.
6 in 10 KRAIL users ride in dark mode.
Designed accessible from day one. Not retrofitted.

Real-time parking slot updates are an absolute game changer. Reliable, accurate, and super convenient. Being a train driver myself, I can really appreciate how well-designed and practical it is.
Amazing app. Saved me today by guiding me to the right exit and line when leaving Central Station. Easy 5-star app!
Finally, I found an app that lets me plan and save my most frequent trip. One-click to reverse my home-to-work commute. Awesome, love the app.
Great app. It updates the timings and shows me which platform to get on, very clearly.
If you come to Sydney and are confused about how public transport works, just install KRAIL. Awesome and user friendly.
I collected one of your flyers from Schofields Station, downloaded the app and tried it. The interface is clean and modern. Thank you for creating this transport platform.
Discovered your app through a Reddit post and I am absolutely loving it! Most of my friends agree the simple UI is way more appealing. Gen z do be a sucker for nice gradients. 4 of my friends use it daily now.
AI recommended this app, really good. Can save your usual trip for free.
This is the best travel app I have used so far. User friendly, easy to navigate, colorful, real-time updates. A one stop shop for all Sydney explorers.
Best trip planning app for Sydney by far. The customisation options make the app feel fresh, and the super nice gradient when viewing trips is very nice to look at.
Brilliant app. No need to open 2 different apps for planning your trip and checking parking anymore.
Excellent job with the font and parking is brilliant. No payment hassle. So perfect in every sense.
I used KRAIL today to get home by bus. Super useful and easy to navigate.
Genuinely impressed with how intuitive and user-friendly it is. From the moment you open it, everything feels smooth, responsive, and well thought out. Highly recommended.
Simple and efficient user interface. Accurate information. No nonsense and straight to the point. I love the mode and plan trip feature.
Soo helpful to see the trains last second and jump straight on, without any ads. The interface is soo cool and really easy to understand. Great app!
Better than the paid alternatives.
Feature loaded yet easy to use. Well done.
I recently came across KRAIL, and it's now my main app for longer train trips. The UI is super simple and it does the job very well. Thanks for making KRAIL.
Browsing through transport apps, the minimalist design of KRAIL caught my eye. I love it 😭 Save trips, see options at a glance. Looks pretty :)
Just found this app. Please tell me you're constantly improving it? I love the way it's going so far and think it has huggeeeeeee potential.
The interface is clean, intuitive, and incredibly easy to navigate · even for someone who isn't very tech savvy. Everything feels thoughtfully designed.
Route information across multiple transport modes · trains, buses, ferries · all in one place.
Very useful. It gives clarity of the real travel time.
The app looks great. The interface is clean and modern. Congratulations!
Looks great, well done! Installed. Pretty certain it's getting 5 stars from me too. Intuitive, clean UX so far. Very impressive for a personal project. Will pass on the word.
My new favourite app.
Why I built KRAIL.
For years, getting from A to B in Sydney meant juggling three apps. One for trains. One for parking. One for the bus that never came. None of them felt like they were actually built for you.
KRAIL is built ground-up for Sydney, only Sydney · from Tallawong's parking lottery to Town Hall's three exits, from the 6am dark to the Friday-night ferry. Every feature comes from a moment a Sydney commuter has actually lived.
There are things in KRAIL you won't find anywhere else. Live parking before the driveway. Stops renamed in words you actually use. Saved trips that remember themselves. Apps don't have to choose between beautiful and useful.
I know you've got an app you're used to. Fair. Give KRAIL a week. If it doesn't quietly become your morning app, tell me why · I read every email.

hey@krail.appThe questions everyone asks.
Is KRAIL really free?
Do I need to create an account?
Your saved trips and preferences are stored on your device. Nothing goes through a login wall. Just open the app and go.
Can KRAIL plan a route from A to B?
You don't need to know the interchange before you open the app. KRAIL works it out.
Does KRAIL support accessibility (A11y)?
Dark mode is built in from day one (not retrofitted), with soft contrast ratios designed to be readable at arm's length at 6am. A11y isn't an afterthought. It's in the original design.
Are there ads in the app?
How is KRAIL different from other Sydney transit apps?
Live parking at 20+ stations. See actual slot availability before you leave the driveway. No other Sydney transit app has this.
Journey planning without needing to know the network. Just say where you're going. KRAIL handles the interchange.
Zero setup. No account. No sign-up. Open the app, ride the city.
Built for Sydney's specific pain points. The Tallawong parking lottery. The wrong exit at Town Hall. The bus that's "3 minutes" until it isn't. KRAIL was built by someone who rides this network every day.
Does my station have live parking?
No other Sydney transit app shows this. We add more stations as TfNSW exposes live data for them.
Where does the live data come from?
